Promoted to partner are Peter Mann and Patrycja Stasina. Perth-based Mann is the Energy and Emissions practice leader for Partners in Performance, and has over 25 years of experience in strategic advisory and operational experience in the infrastructure, mining, oil and gas, renewable energy and sporting sectors.

Prior to joining Partners in Performance, Mann worked for Boston Consulting Group, Advisian (the consulting business of Worley), Patterson Ord Minnett and Macquarie Bank. Earlier in his career he was a professional AFL footballer for ten years at the North Melbourne and Fremantle clubs.

Stasina has been with Partners in Performance in New Zealand for three years, and is now a partner in the firm’s Financial Services practice. Before Partners in Performance, Stasina was head of customer experience, strategy and innovation at telecom company Spark New Zealand, and held several leadership roles in banking (Bank of New Zealand and Westpac) and insurance (IAG).

Earlier in her career, Stasina worked for global strategic consultancy L.E.K. Consulting and market research firm Frost and Sullivan. Gaby Carney has joined the consultancy as a partner in its Government business. She has extensive experience in public policy, and has led major reform projects, strategic planning, and the provision of legal services during her roles at Legal Aid NSW and the Law Society of NSW.

Before that, at the Department of Justice NSW, Carney led the delivery of NSW government programs that deliver domestic violence support and legal services to the community.

Eric de Cavaignac joined Partners in Performance from deCAR Partners, a boutique consulting firm he served for almost two decades. During this time, he worked on dozens of strategy, transformation, and digital projects, at clients including art business Christie’s, Rodale, and Westpac. Earlier in his career, he worked at McKinsey & Company for five years and AT&T.

Luan Atkinson previously served SouthPeak Investment Management (a firm she co-founded) for more than a decade. Before that, she held senior roles at Deutsche Bank and Perpetual, focused on structured products and wealth management. Earlier, Atkinson – who has been appointed a part-time partner at Partners in Performance – worked at McKinsey & Company and law firm Mallesons Stephen Jaques (now KWM). Earlier in 2021, Partners in Performance added three partners to its leadership team. Globally, the privately-held consultancy has over 500 consultants working from offices in 10+ countries.
